About Me

Hello! My name is Saxton Dees, and I am a Software Engineer based out of Idaho. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Boise State University.

My path to software engineering is a bit non-traditional. I spent four years as an Aviation Mechanic in the United States Navy, maintaining mission-critical systems under high-pressure conditions. After that, I worked as an Industrial Mechanic dealing with high-voltage systems. This background instilled in me strict operational discipline and advanced fault isolation skills that I now apply to software architecture.

Currently, I am a Software Engineer at JBS, where I architect enterprise applications and build highly performant full-stack features utilizing Django, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
